Digitalization is an important method for preserving and providing access to fragile archives, museum collections and historical artifacts.  In this project, we examined and compared different approaches for acquiring and preserving such collections.

As data acquisition methods develop, the requirements for displaying the digital collections becomes increasingly demanding. In this project we showed that by using a practical and flexible auto-configurable display system we can fully present the resolution of the stored data, making possible the in-depth analysis that the data deserve.
